Property/Layer/etc panels are not resizing or moving anymore in 8.20

I have a docked panel for properties, layers, etc. Since 8.20.25157.13001, I can’t move or resize them. (I was lacking behind a lot in term of update so the problem might be older).

Version 8 SR20 - (8.20.25157.13001, 2025-06-06)

Pls try to use ToggleRightSidebar to lock the right panels

Thanks Jessesn! this solves it for me.

I probably pressed the “toggle” button down right causing to start the command by mistake. Any chance to make the button image an actual toggle button with two state ? They (as I found out there is also one on the left) are not the most intuitive right now.

Exactly, kind of like the “hidden/shown” “Locked/unlocked” in the layer panel:

  • on (true) image
  • off (false) image

When it is toggled, you don’t see the sidebar. I think this is pretty obvious

until you click on one of the property/panel/etc. icon to show the panel, expanding the side bar and wondering why it disappear and create a bug report for it.

I get it, it’s a feature, and I will never mistake it again now that I know. Just trying to save the next guy (who doesn’t know it yet) the trouble…

All the other footer “toggle” have different state + a text description. This one is the only one that is icon only, ultra minimalist/dark gray/no border so not clearly identifiable as “interactive” and no state, maybe room for improvement in terms of affordance.
