Issues with view and sidebars

Yesterday everything looked similar to the tutorials I was working on. Today when I opened it, there is nothing but the 4 grey planes, meaning no left tool bar and no top bars. While tinkering with it, I then also accidentally closed the bar that the layers panel was in and now I cannot get that back either. When I go through google guidances, they don’t seem to lead me to the right place - likely due to the newer version.

How do I bring all of these panels back to default? I’ve attempted “return to default” buttons, restarted the program, restarted my computer and nothing seems to be working.

I managed to figure it out. Window to windows layout to default. Simple solution, but very different than every YouTube fix told me.

Im embarrassed to ask but the right side panel ( layers property etc) disappeared, on rhino 8 pc

Hi So -

Are there still icons visible on that right side, or is everything gone? If there are still icons, a panel will fly-out when you click on its icon. If everything is gone, you can run the WindowLayout command to restore the default layout.

Thnx for your reply, once I figured that panels became containers I found the solution .
