Problems with Kangaroo 2 and imac

I have been trying to learn Kangaroo 2 for assembly modeling. Working with the tutorial here:

I successfully built the model and created the joint connection. However the motion in the Rhino viewport is not fluid at all. it will only make small incremental motions. I am using the latest Rhino 7 and system is :
macOS 11.6.2
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)
3.3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
24 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
AMD Radeon R9 M395 2 GB

I know this is below the recommended hardware, but the model works fine on my laptop (way lower spec) and on the imac if I use Rhino 6, so I suppose there is possibly some setting in Rhino 7 that needs to be adjusted. Any ideas?

Hi @cutj
Can you try with this alternative version of the grab component?
It seems grab behaves differently on some macs.
