Problem with the download export locally

Hi forum

Recently, I’ve been having issues exporting locally with the DownloadExport component in shapediver.

When I select to export locally, the file comes with 0kb and no geometry inside it.

here’s the command bar in rhino when I select the option

I’m using a simple definition for example purpose, just a curve and the usual dxf export option in it

I thought this could be happening because my username in my computer have a blank space between it, but this happens in any other path with or without.

And also, this happens with any other file format available at the plugin.

I just tried to replicate this issue locally but it worked as expected on my side. Please let me know which version of Rhino and the ShapeDiverp plugin you are using, and also attach a minimal definition showing the issue.

export problem.gh (9.5 KB) file, just a simple curve to export.

shapediver version: 1.21.0

rhino version: 8 SR12 (8.12.24282.7001, 2024-10-08)

I can confirm that your file works as expected when I run it on my local system (same SD and Rhino versions).

Did you try to send a string to the “Name” input instead of leaving it empty?

Did you try to run Rhino as an administrator?

On your screenshot above, is the “Curve or Edge to reference (Mode=Reference)” prompt coming when you try to run this export or was this from a previous command you ran?

I inputted a name and nothing.

I tried right now as administrator, still happening.

For the command before, this was me referencing it the curve to grasshopper, this is the prompt that shows up after the ‘set one curve’ command.

And I used the same definition that I’ve sent to you.

My apologies, our team still cannot reproduce this issue.
Did you try sending a name to the third input of the component?

Otherwise it might be due to tolerance settings, or other settings of the Rhino document you are using. We will test on more configurations to see if the problem can be reproduced on our side.
