Problem with starting it up

Hi, I am a non-english speaker so first of all sorry for my bad english and lack of searching ability to avoid double posting of similar question.

So, I do have a problem with starting Rhino 6.
It just won’t open both Rhino 6 and Rhino6 in safe mode. (ran as administrator).
Not even an single error message shows up. Whenever i tried to start it, nothing seems to show up in Windows Task Manager.

I checked,

  1. Opened the Registry Editor however don’t have ‘global’ folder In the registry, under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\McNeel\Rhinoceros\6.0
    I only have ‘install’

  2. Updated NVIDIA driver (GTX 1060) to 442.50 and Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1903 (February 27, 2020-KB4537572)

Hi,

You can try to run the installer again and choose the repair option.

Does thay make sense?

Maybe even try re-downloading?

Redownloaded the installer and conducted ‘repair’ but still not working.

Uninstalled the program and redowloaded the file from the e-mail that I received,
conducted installation again but still the same. :frowning:

That is very unfortunate.

Is you Windows installation maybe broken or is there a virusscanner or firewall active that can cause this?
Does other software work without problems?

I have no further ideas what you can do.
Try contacting McNeel support, they can possibly help you.

Tried reinstalling with deactivating antivirus program and fire-wall but still not working… think I will have to contact support team :frowning: Thank you for your help though :slight_smile: !
