Hello, So I imported a file from Archicad to Rhino6 and now I can’t change the material of the imported model, I tried changing layers but materials aren’t applying, it stays the same color, but the worst part is I tried opening that model in lumion10 to have checked how materials are applying and it was all messed up. what is the solution to this problem https://imgur.com/9ANI5Ri https://imgur.com/e6Lm6cn
You materials are probably applied per-object and not by layer. If you want them to have by layer assignments, select them all and in Properties, Materials tab, set them to Use Layer Material. Then assign the materials you want to the layers.
