with kind regards

Hi Ali -
Can you apply materials to objects that you create yourself in Rhino?

Hi @user2226
IIRC, most objects will come in as blocks from Archicad, so you need to either a) Explode the block and apply materials to the resulting objects or b) Edit the blocks and apply materials inside the block.

It worked, thank you very much!
And there is another question, I imported the model into Rhino, and evreything looks normal, but if save Rhino an reopen it again, all my textures a suddenly completly diffrent, do you know why?
kind regards
Ali

Hi @user2226
What does

mean? Are they missing, mapped wrong or are they actually completely different textures/bitmaps? Are they Rhino materials (or Vray or something else)? Are the textures on a local drive or on a mapped/network drive? Is this true for all files or only files imported from ArchiCAD? Is “Save textures” turned on in the “Save file” dialog box? Can you post a (simple!) file and screen shoots of before and after (showing what the mapping should look like and what it actually looks like when re-opening the file?
