Importing archicad file to Rhino

Hello,

I have a project drawn in Archicad, that I would like to switch over to Rhino. I’ve saved the project as a rhino file in Archicad, but the textures are not there when I open in Rhino. I would really like to use vray for rendering so if I can somehow import the textures done in Archicad it would be a massive help.

I’ve tried exporting the file in different ways; mesh, solid etc… and exploding the blocks in Rhino, but doesn’t help…

I hope someone can help me!!

Closed solid polysurface doesn't show material

you can assign material per layer in the layer-palette, there is a square for the layer color, next to it there is a round color-icon for materials. you can also just drag and drop materials on single objects. you will find many tutorials online for example here [Material Basics in Rhino 6]
