<Problem> *.rmtl type file

Hi,
I have a weird situation with my materials List, so I need your advice.

In the Materials library tab - Render Content, I do not see the material thumbnail as it should be - A material Sphere - it shows the file as Illustrator type or Pdf Type. so - I cant see the materials in the list
after I attach the materials to the object in the material tab - I can see the thumbnail.
How to Fixed it, so I can see the thumbnail also int the Materials library tab?

Thanks, u save my life !!! It helps! I had been trying too many other solutions but they didn’t work.
