Rhino Materials not showing even in rendered view?

Hi again - I have a question about Rhino materials; their thumbnails don’t show up when I go into the folders and then they don’t show up even in rendered mode when I apply them? I’m just struggling to find any good materials in general. I do have Vray, but we are advised not to use it for our project. I feel like I’ve missed a step, any help would be much appreciated

Hi @India_Phelan-Boyd ,

Your post is in the Mac Rendering category but your screenshot is from Windows so I’m not sure which OS you are on. In either case though you should be able to switch the Finder or File Explorer window respectively to show thumbnails of the rmtl files instead of a detailed list, it’s a view setting in the window. Maybe that is the control you are looking for.
