Problem installing on new pc

Hello, we bought a new pc in the company and I need to install Rhino6 (which was installed on the old pc).
I uninstalled the program from the old pc to avoid problems with the license, but I’m not allowed to log in because I always get the error: "Can’t reach Rhino Account server (Request cancelled: couldn’t create SSL/TLS secure channel… .)

Hi Federico -
Just to make sure, which version of Rhino 6 are you installing? Can you post the file name of the installer?

Can you reach https://api.mcneel.com/ ?

If the license wasn’t released and the computer isn’t available anymore you can have the owner of the license contact sales and get it released.

Hi Japhy, after the download can I try to log in again?

Certainly, let us know if there are any issues. If you can reach https://api.mcneel.com/ and have 6.35 with a valid license you should be good to go.

You might end up in a loop where you login, your account tells you there is a license, you go back to V6 and it says you don’t have a license.

If that happens report back.
It’s easy to sort as well.

Grazie mille a tutti, problema risolto.
Ho notato che mi ha salvato 2 programmi: “Rhino6” (il classico) e “Rhino6 in modalità sicura”.
In ogni caso aprono entrambi il programma correttamente.
Grazie ancora e buon anno!!

Rhino 6 in Safe Mode is a troubleshootong tool.
It is not a working mode.

Safe Mode is used when Rhino crashes on startup so you can disable buggy plug-ins or display drivers.
