Printing from different display modes

Hi there,

Just looking for some clarification on the options to print from different display modes…

Is it correct that if I want to print vector, only wireframe display mode allows this?
I can have both wireframe and shaded print as vector, and the shaded will come out as raster but any other views in wireframe still come out as vector on same file.

However this becomes more confusing when if I try to print monochrome or technical in vector, they don’t behave the same as shaded, and instead change them to wireframe.

Just looking to see this is as expected or if there are ways around this, and any more options to get vector lines in different modes?

Hi Joshua -

In Rhino 8, both Wireframe and all technical display modes (Technical, Artistic, Pen, Monochrome, and copies of those) will print to vector when that is picked as the output type.

That is a bug that is currently being worked on.

Thank you! Apologies didn’t realise this was a bug that was being worked on, thanks for the update
