Hi there! I’ve been using Rhino for a while and Rhino 8 for a recent project that involves multiple detail layouts and axonometric views. I’ve been happy with exporting axon views to a vector PDF in a slightly modified Pen mode, which then allows me to open it in Illustrator for further edits.
However, this morning, (perhaps with the newest update?) I can no longer export to a vector PDF in Pen mode, or even shaded. It always falls back to wireframe when vector is selected. Raster works, but not for my current drawing pipeline.
The same happens with a new file with a regular cube. I can upload screenshots of that too if it would help!
Is there a new default that I’ve failed to find? Or maybe a bug in the most recent update? I’m on a super tight deadline at this point, so any help would be much appreciated. Also, is it possible anywhere nowadays to roll back an update just so see if that was what caused an issue? Thank you!
I’m having a similar issue with the most recent update; not being able to export rendered or arctic views to pdf - comes up with a blank page every time!
Thanks @arialoea and @natashabw we’ll take a look and see what the issues are. You can use this link to follow the issue and get updates for it. RH-79092
Any chance it be possible to get a link to download the version of Rhino 8 prior to this latest update to get some drawings out urgently? Glad to see that it will be fixed soon and very much so look forward to that—just have a big deadline to hit on Tuesday
Here is the latest internal build of 8.3 which has some fixes in this area. I made changes to the code on Friday so no internal testing has been done on these yet.
Appreciate the link, and sorry to clog up the thread - but is there a Mac version of the internal build I could test and export out of, or just Windows?
