Possible to enable Rosetta for GH on apple silicon Rhino 8

I just spoke to Proving Ground (the devs of Lunchbox) asking if lunchbox will be supported by gh on Rhino8 running on apple silicon.

Unfortunately, Lunchbox requires .NET Framework components which are not natively supported on Apple Silicon. The reason it works on Rhino7 is that this uses Rosetta to run the intel program. Now that Rhino 8 is running natively, Lunchbox doesn’t work.

Proving Ground suggested that I post here seeing if there’s any way to make rosetta work on Rhino plugins running on Rhino 8.

How to download LunchBox to Mac grasshopper?

To get LunchBox working on Apple Silicon you can run Rhino 8 using Rosetta. Right click Rhino, click Get Info, then check Open using Rosetta. It will make Rhino 8 a wee slower (but at least equivalent or faster than Rhino 7). When the LunchBox developers update their plugin to support Apple Silicon you can then turn this off.
