Heron on M1 Mac: Error when importing OSM or SHP

Something seems to not work about heron on mac (M1). I installed the latest version (0.4.2.1) via Package Manager. Any ideas? @Brian_Washburn

Hi @jasper ,
Are you running this in Rhino 8? If so, have you set it to run with the NETFramework option of SetDotNetRuntime?

Hi Brian, yes, Rhino 8 on mac M1. Isnt SetDotNetRuntime a windows thing? The command doesn’t work on mac apparently.

Apologies, you are correct. I was thinking of running Rhino 8 with Rosetta:

That works, thank you! The speed is noticably slower with rosetta though, so it would be amazing if heron would support apple silicon someday…
