Popping in and out of drawing space too easily in layouts

when I’m in drawing space and I need to access my model via a detail view area in layouts I normally double click. However, I’m finding that sometimes if I click once with my mouse Rhino will register a double click and I’ll pop into the model. This has the ability of changing my view away from where I want it to be and messing up my hatches, lines, or any dimentions I have in drawing space so I’ll have to go back and line them up again. My windows running colleagues are saying this must be a bug since they don’t have this issue but it’s possible that it could be a mouse issue. However, I do not have this problem with any other program. I’ve noticed that this happens quite a lot when I click once on a clipping plane/model intersection line in drawing space. I’ve included a video. In the video you can see Rhino registering double clicking. However, I am not actually double clicking. Please advise.

Hi Chris -

I must admit that that is the first thing that came to my mind when reading the title of your post. I can’t provoke that behavior here on my Mac either. Have you tried a different mouse? Also, please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the result here.

After replacing my mouse and testing for a couple weeks I’m happy to say you are right. Thanks so much for your help!
