Point light shadows not appearing in Rhino Render [SOLVED]

Hello!

Slight problem with shadows. I’ve a night time render with one point light illuminating the entire scene (0.24 intensity).
Sun and Skylight are off.

See location of spot light in Ghosted:

In Rendered all is fine. The point light casts shadows of posts on walls.
See here:

When I switch to Raytraced or render the scene with Rhino Render for CPU, the post shadows are gone:

This problem appeared recently, one of the earlier render tests was fine. This is what I’m trying to achieve (in better quality):

Any ideas are much appreciated!

If you want me to take a look at your file you can share it with me using rhino3d.com/upload?to=nathan@mcneel.com

Lights should definitely work, so I’d like to know if a recent change I made to the code causes this or not.

Thank you, Nathan. I uploaded the file.

@annsaa thank you for uploading the file. The reason that you don’t see shadows is that you changed shadow intensity. For this particular scene it looks like anything below 85% starts to be very unclear, your light is at 55%. If you set it back at 85% or higher you get better shadows.

Here a version set to 92%

I may need to tweak the range and action of shadow intensity for point lights.

That’s exactly what it was! Now looks the same for me in Raytraced and in Rhino Render.

Thank you - much appreciated!

Enjoy Rhino
