Hi all,
Does anyone know why the following script doesn’t work in all locations? In most of them it does but there are locations that simply doesn’t work
For this example i have used the following file but it happens also in other models that i have tested.

Thank you for the good work so far on SubD modeling and features.
For the marine industry, there are a few vessel hull types that ask for SubD modeling and I did a test. It all looks very promising.
The attached hull is something that can be used for testing SubD: 11 Discourse SubD-ShipHull.3dm (4.9 MB)
Furthermore there’s a little Grasshopper script to make a lines plan and being able to do curvature graph analysis: SubD-Grasshopper.gh (24.3 KB)
What I found out after generating a Nu…
Edit: I have some issues uploading the file and screenshots.

Hi -
I don’t know why, no. I’ve put it on the list as RH-62377 to be looked at.
You can work around this by using the Brep | Brep intersection component and creating a surface from that intersection.

Thanks @wim ,
FYI I can reproduce the same issue in 2 other shapes i tested.
@wim
Furthermore, i noticed that when offsetting a curve that has been created from contour command the direction is not consistent.

Any idea that can be a work around for the moment would be nice
Thanks

What @wim suggested above is to use Brep / Brep instead for the time being like the attached…
