Planar Boundary gives error (not planar) but IS PLANAR

Hi all,

Quick one from me. Playing with TSD-GH Live Link.
Rhino 8 + TSD 2025
Creating planar walls/roof panels which were modelled as planar in Rhino (extrusions).
Grasshopper checks that both the surfaces are planar and the boundary polyline is planar.
However the TSD wall component complains about planarity.

Anyone else had that problem? Seems like an internal check happening in the component with some default tolerance settings.

Thanks

Why do you say “Quick one”?
How much time do you think it takes to analyze and answer your question? With no GH file…
Even if it’s “simple” and one has Tekla (and your GH file).

3. Attach minimal versions of all the relevant files

Thanks @Joseph_Oster, it’s more of “quick” question in reference to other users having issues with planar boundaries not being recognised as planar. It was not meant to be asking for a “quick” solution. Thanks!

Have traced this down to a very high tolerance internal checks inside the Tekla panel components. The tolerance will be reduced for Service Pack 2 release coming later in the year.
