My rhino is very pixelated all of the sudden. I used it ealier today, and nw it’s pixelated. What can I do?
Hi - I suppose that this is related to your other posts in a different thread…
Do you have any idea of what happened with your system in between those two points? Did the Windows OS update? Did you install a new version of Rhino? Any plug-in?
Could you run the Rhino SystemInfo
command and copy-paste the result here?
-wim
Hi, Thank you! Yes it is… The only thing that has happened is that I calibrated my screen with i1Profiler… But I’ve done ti before without it affecting my program…
Im sorry I feel like a giant noob now - how do I run the SystemInfo command? I just typed it into my command bar but nothing happened…
Hi - on Rhino 5, please make a screen shot of the Rhino Options > View > OpenGL
properties.
-wim
Yes.
But that shows that you are running an Intel UHD Graphics P630. Why are you trying to find settings for an NVIDIA card as in that other thread?
-wim
Oh… well I thought that, that NVIDIA thing was causing the problems… Do you know where I can find settings for Intel UHD Graphics P630 then? Also… if I dont have the NVIDIA isnt it strange I can find setting for it?
Yes - that would seem to suggest that you also have an NVIDIA card…
Could you open the Windows Device Manager
and expand the Display Adapters
entry:
-wim
That’s the correct menu, yes. It shows that you do have an NVIDIA in there.
By the looks of it, that screen calibration app messed up some of the display settings on your PC.
Please find up-to-date drivers for that card from this page - https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx - and install those. If that doesn’t get you back on track, you might need to do a clean install of the drivers but you can start by just installing the latest version.
-wim
Okay, thank you for your help! I’ll try that Thank you for your patience
