Hello,I want to achieve the gradient circles to be mapped into a rectangular, middle of the rec has no circles. See the attached. Any ideas of what I should do? If there is a sample definition, that would be great.

I´m trying to create a Pattern for a CNC - drilled Facade with grasshopper.
So the first thing is to create a grid within a fixed distance between the point centers and fill it with circles with a defined Radius, complication is that the grid is not allowed to touch the frame of the bounding box. This is already solved.
The next step is to variate the size of the circles though a curve or point attractor, nothing special too.
But now the tricky part where i got stuck…

I’ve been following Arturo Tedeschi’s Alogorithms-aided design book as a tutorial book for introduction to grasshopper. I’ve come across a section in 4.3.3 Image Sampler Component (pg 203) and the grasshopper script isn’t producing the results shown in the book. What am I missing?

I’m currently working on an image sampler definition, but I’d like to limit the circle sizes to 5-8 specific sizes for fabrication purposes. Is there a way I could change the definition to allow me to apply those constraints?

I just tried to apply this pattern on the suface (in red in the image below) of the building I designed by image sampler.
The surface is like this, very curvy

And the pattern is supposed to be like this

However, by image sampler, all circles are in the same radius, I do not know why.

Actually, the pattern was made by a script I downloaded online, however, if I apply the surface into the downloaded script directly, it dosen’t work properly somehow.

Hey! I’m a new Grasshopper user and I’m having trouble using the image sampler tool to generate a perforated surface with circles using a non square image. All of the tutorials and guides I’ve seen on doing this do it with a square image and I’m using a rather long rectangle, I would like for the whole picture to be displayed in the panel, or at least be able to choose a certain square of it.
