Is this a bug? Transparency won’t show up in pen view with locked objects. The highlighted box should be transparent and show the underlying dimensions.

I just tested this in Rhino 7 and its not getting a transparency either.
Would SetObjectDisplayMode work for you in this case?

There are settings for it, i’ll do some digging.
Ok, silly me. You need to enable the Show hidden lines option, which is off by default in that Display mode.
@Japhy the problem is this would be shown as technical drawing view mode and locked objects even with transparency on will then show as solids. Inverted, that would come closer to what i wanted to achieve. But what I really would like to see is the hidden lines rather dimmed by the overlapping surfaces like it would look like with transparency on.
