I’m having a problem with lineweights when Exporting or Printing to PDF, in V8 I have to change all the weights to hairline, but the dims are still ‘chunky’, see attached V7 & V8 comparison.
Importing PDF’s to Rhino is also problematic, all the text/dims are unreadable! See attached, hoping this can be easily amended, systeminfo added, tia

@wim @stevebaer @BrianJ @pascal does anyone have any ideas about this issue ? cheers
Hi Miles -
Please post a 3dm file and the PDF file that you are having issues with. There are a multitude of settings and combinations, and we can’t extract those from some images.

hi @wim Wim, see attached, thanks for looking into this

Hello- I do not see the fat dimension lines here so far.
-Pascal
uhmm, strange, as you can see from my pdf’s the fat dimensions are there , @pascal have you tried importing my pdf’s to Rhino ? Do you get the jumbled dims/text ?
@brian is this anything you could assist with ? The importing of PDF’s is a real problem, the text/dims are somehow being converted to some kind of symbol
I have already reported the PDF import problem as I told you in our email conversation: https://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-80230/Import-pdf-changes-the-text-to-symbols so I suggest keeping this topic on the export problem which I have not tested yet.
I can’t reproduce the printing problem:
but maybe it is because of your paper size/scale configuration. I see you are printing it in A3, so I suggest printing it on a bigger paper size like A0. Let me know if that helps
@Guillermo_Varela thanks for testing, if I use V7 we don’t have the lineweight/fat-dim issue
