Osnap stuck snapping to SubD object - Rhino 8

I used the Snap to SubD command (either that or interpolate crv on srf, I don’t remember) to draw a crv onto a subD object but now it’s just stuck that way and the only crvs I can make are snapping to that subD. Even if I turn off Osnap altogether, it will still only let me create a crv onto that surface

just run _SnapToSubDObject again with nothing preselected and press Enter
