OSnap project rhino 8

When I have Osnap on and the Project checked in Rhino 8 it doesn’t work the same as in Rhino 7 where I could move objects in the parallel viewports in only the 2 dimensions of the viewport. Which settings do I change to do this again?

Hello- you may be looking for the Planar settings, in the status bar at the bottom of the screen

if you are looking to lock movement to the CPlane axes, then Ortho, to the left of Planar.

Either of those help?
