this is one of the shapes i want to know what it will look like when folded, the blue line is the folds, the red line is where i want to join them (red line length of course are equal), I don’t know how to use grasshopper to do this, someone please help me, many thanks and appreciate your knowledge.

We use Length goals to keep the edge lengths fixed, and a Coincident goal to pull the ends of the opening together.
Because everything starts in one plane, we also need something to initiate the buckling out of this plane, so there’s a ‘nudge’ part which allows you to momentarily apply a vertical force to the central vertex.
