Operating a pattern with Kangaroo

Hello everyone,

I am having this pattern

The red hinges are for the parts of pattern to rotate.

It is similar but a bit more complicated than this one

I cannot not figure out how to make the white pattern operates like the green one does.

Could someone look at my GH file and give me some advice please?!

Thank you very much in advance!

Best regards,

It doesn’t need to be any more complicated than the 6 unit version - just a different symmetry.

For something like this it makes things much simpler to do it all around the world origin first, then orient it wherever needed.

If you want to replace the tetrahedral unit, don’t modify the inputs to the Kangaroo part, just position and scale your new unit so that its axes line up with those of the existing tetrahedron and input the new geometry in place of the highlighted mesh input.

I realised we can even set this up so the number of units is another slider:

Hello Mr. Piker,

Thank you so much for your advice! I will try to apply this way to my model. I hope my model will work.

I really appreciate your kind help!
