Open curve?

Hi.
I draw a curve with InterCrv and when i finished and joined all the curves together and I also checked if it is a closed curve, I tried to extrude it and the extrude i get is empty from the inside, it is not a solid extrude, and the solid option is on yes so idk what to do??
If anyone can help

can you join the file ?

what said the properties panel about this curve, open or closed curve ?
may be your cuve is not planar.

If solid extrude is set to yes, and a curve does not extrude solid, then one of two things is happening - either the curve is not planar, or it is not closed - or both.

If you select the curve and look in properties, it will tell you if the curve is closed or not. If it is closed, you can test to see if PlanarSrf (Surface>From planar curves) will make a surface from it. If not, it is not planar.

If you think it should be planar, you can “planarize” it by either ProjectToCPlane - if you want it on the Z0 plane - or by using SetPt.

HTH, --Mitch

The properties says closed curve

The curve is closed when i look in properties abd when im trying to extrude i get an extrude of an opened curve…
What should I do?

Again, is the curve planar?

I’m not home yet but if it is not planar what should I do?

Like Mitch says:

My main problem js when i’m trying to do booleanintersection

Im supposed to get glasses

Does that mean that you’ve solved it?

Seems you make a difference not a intersection

Post the file, we can’t know what happend just like that.

I tried to do intersection and then i realized that one of the extrudes is empty as I said and im pretty sure that is why i cant get the glasses i want

So ill be home soon till than i wont bother u all sorry, when I will get home ill upload the file

Guys i got it thank u very muchhhh.
The planar was the problem
