Number Slider Animate to generate rhino scenes instead of .bpm files

Is it possible to the Animate option in the number slider of grasshopper, instead of creating .bpm files, could create rhinoceros scenes?

@Leo13 Could you elaborate what is a “scene”?

Hi Toni -

This thread is the continuation of this one:

Pardon me, by scene I meant Named Views in Rhino.

@Leo13
I may be shooting off-target here, based on the info @wim linked, but you do not need a slider in order to save an assortment of Views.

@Toni_Osterlund The animate option from number sliders generate a number of .bpm images corresponding to the quantity of frames per second you chose. All I want is that, instead of generating this images it generate named views inside rhinoceros.

@Leo13
The animate option on number slider creates as many (any image format) pictures as there are steps on the slider. You CAN set it up to match fps, if you know the animation length in advance. So you need to calculate the amount of steps, for the slider to match your length. That said, the same math can be used to calculate the amount of planes → Views you need to save. For instance, you can create frames on a curve and calculate the amount of frames to match the fps.

As far as I know, you can only save pictures from “animate slider”. But for this purpose, the animate does not make sense anyways.
