New layer Color Random - How to Disable

When I create a new layer in V9 WIP (9.0.25315.12305, 2025-11-11) the layer color is set to a random color. How do I disable this feature and revert to the color of new layers always being black?

It looks fine on my side, and I tested it in the latest RhinoWIP (9.0.25319.12305, 2025-11-15)

Hi @davidcockey,

Make sure to left-button click on the “New” button. A right-button click will generate layers with random colors. Hover over the button to see a tooltip.
