Need help with fillet

Hi rhino experts! Any help would be much appreciated, im rushing to print this out for molding, so i hope to find any solution/method to achieve my desired outcome

I cant seem to be able to make a fillet with a radius of around 2 to 3mm at this area as shown:

i’m not sure if i made a mistake when doing the desired shape.

what i did was create a subd version of the shape that i want to deboss into the middle of the shape but the issue comes when trying to fillet it to make it smooth.

My file:

The model in the file does not seem to correspond to the picture that you posted.

The file is before differencing…

Ah, got it. I see the problem that occurs with fillet edge. Instead of using FilletEdge, you can use the Pipe with BlendSrf technique explained in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mXv4IaWSBw

Attached is the result for a pipe of 1 mm radius.

I created a ticket for the fillet problem https://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-83619

i can’t access the file because i only have rhino 7… could you maybe save as rhino 7 if possible?

This is v7 - I encourage you to try the pipe+blendsrf yourself though

well… i just learned a new thing it seems haha. i actually never thought blend can be used in such a manner to join 2 edges with a nice smooth surface. Thanks so much for the quick response, as well as introducing pipe+blendsrf skill/trick to me!
