So i tried to divide the surface with points but some of the points doesnt appear on its edges. Im tryin to create a space frame structure so this rlly prevent me from doin so

Put curves through those points and use the curves to create your structure?

The reason you didn’t divide the surface as you wanted is because you used a trimmed surface.
You can convert it to an untrimmed surface and then divide the surface using the following method.
I also recommend using the lunchbox plugin for space truss.
