the Rhino window seems to react to (ctrl +) mouse wheel zooming even when not being the active application/window in Windows. Causing zoom havoc frequently in Rhino.
I presume this is not the behaviour expected ? Applications should only zoom in/out when being active …
When writing this message in Chrome, if I keep the mouse pointer over the Chrome window, the (ctrl + )mouse wheel will increase/decrease text size in the Chrome window, but if I accidentally happen to cross the border of the Chrome window and Rhino is below, it will start zooming in and out in the model active in Rhino …
ups, i forgot to finish this reply, well with some delay after all:
mouse wheel actions work also without making it active on mac you can have 2 apps next to each other, above of each other and scroll zoom in both without having to activate either of them first so that would not save the OP,
not so much when you want to enter something there or drag with the mouse, but i wonder what happens on windows, does the mouse wheel action already activate the app so that you can after zooming for instance proceed working with the keyboard? or will simply moving the mouse to the other window activate it?
edit:
working on windows a year ago or so i now remember that neat function.. yes mac os is certainly not perfect by all means..
