Mouse scrolling disabled after exiting sleep mode

Hi everyone,
I’m currently running 5.0.2 on Mavericks and got a minor recurring issue:
The scroll function on the mouse is disabled after I put put my computer to sleep while running rhino.
Everything else is all right (moving, panning, left/right clicking,…).
The mouse scrolls normally in all other applications; which points to a rhino issue.
I must restart rhino in order to get all mouse functions back.

Thanks!

Hi Roumla,

We tested this on a computer in our lab running Mavericks and Rhino for Mac 5.0.2 with a Logitech wheel mouse. The scroll zoom and pan work as usual after putting computer asleep by closing lid, then reopen, logging back in and returning to the Rhino application. At this point, Rhino is back to normal, scroll wheel zooms in and out in the Rhino viewports.

Let us know if we missed any important detail that will help us duplicate this issue in our lab.
If we can duplicate it here, we can get it on the list to be fixed.

Sincerely,
Mary Ann Fugier

Hello,
Tanks for your reply.
I’ve got an apple Magic Mouse.
I’ll try to gather more details next time it’ll happen, it’s been 2 days without a hitch.
I’m currently unable to reproduce it…
Roumla

I have the same problem. After my Mac have been in sleep mode, I have to restart Rhino before I can use the scroll.
