Modify the Layers UI

Is there a way to change the way the layer UI looks and functions. This one is from Matrix and works really well.

The " stock " layer UI from Rhino is kinda clunky and moving objects to different layers is a process. The layout on the right, you just have to highlight the object and press the layer arrow button to move it.

Hello - how are you doing this? (there are at least four ways… )

  1. Change the layer in Properties
  2. Highlight the target layer in the layer panel, right click and choose ‘Change object layer’
  3. Select a layer from the status bar pane - selected objects will go to that layer
  4. ChangeLayer command.
