My Rhino 5 (64bit) has performed flawlessly for years until today, and I don’t think Rhino is the culprit.
Rhino 5 32bit runs fine. I tried reinstalling the 64bit Visual c++ service pack , ran a full virus scan and reinstalled Rhino5 to no avail… help!

Try starting Rhino in Safe Mode (Start -> Programs -> Rhinoceros -> Rhino in Safe Mode). Does it start? If so, the culprit might be a 3rd party plug-in.
Nope, it still won’t run in safe mode.

Yup, tried that, still no workee.
Thanks for all your input I’m due for a reformat reinstall on my system anyway(guess what I’ll be doing all weekend) and that should fix it. A friend also recommended a backup/restore program call Acronis so that should help with any future problems.
