Importing a mesh in .obj to V8 that has Metal on,
mesh is only visible when window selecting the expected area.
8.0.21096.12306, 2021-04-06 [it says it is the latest version even as I may have seen an announcement for a newer one…?]

The latest public version on the Mac is 8.0.21103.08306.
Could you post an *.obj file that behaves like that or is it sufficient to, for example, export a box from Rhino to *.obj and import that?

Edit: it seems the issue is only in wireframe mode. Sorry I didn’t think to check as it was disappearing before I had a chance to see in which display mode it was coming in.
here’s a mid range mesh in 230k [from Zb Lightbox so it is publicly available ]
I checked with the same mesh divided up and down and it is the same invisibility issue
[updated the wip to the current version 8.0.21103.08306]

Hi Akash -
So far, I’m not able to reproduce that here.
I start Rhino from a factory-default template, put it in Metal mode, and then import the file that you posted. The mesh is visible in all viewports (all in Wireframe mode) here.
I suppose that you imported the original *.obj file, and not a *.3dm file but does that make a difference on your end?
