HI Dave -

Does this happen when you start a new file from a factory-default template and then run Text? Or is this specific to a file that you are using?
-wim

I just tried a new template and it worked as expected. So, it must be file specific. Now, the question becomes, is it possible to create a new file with the work I’ve already done?

Today, I am unable to edit anything while trying to edit text in my Rhino software. An error message appeared during the attempt, and I have attached a screenshot for your reference. This issue is affecting my workflow, and I kindly request your immediate assistance in resolving it.

Hi Muthukumaran -

I’m not seeing that screenshot here.
Please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste its output here.
If this is something that you are only running into with a specific file, please also attach the file here.

Thanks for the SystemInfo and the screenshot.
You didn’t post a 3dm file, though.
When you launch Rhino with a factory-default template and run the Text command, are you then seeing this error message?
-wi

yes after i get this issues

how i resolve it

Hi -

I don’t understand what that means.
I’ll need your 3dm file…
-wim

Untitled.3dm (71.0 KB)
3dm file upload above please check

Hi Muthukumaran -

Thanks.
Editing that text object doesn’t seem to be throwing an error here:

When I open that file, though, I’m getting this notification on the command line:

Read 3 annotation styles that reference 3 fonts that are not installed on this device.
Annotation styles referencing a missing font:
Helvetica / Helvetica (Regular)
romsim / romsim (Regular)
WORKING / WORKING (Regular)
Missing fonts:
Helvetica (Regular)
romsim (Regular)
WORKING (Regular)

Do you also see this error when you launch Rhino with a factory-default template and create and edit text with the unmodified default style in that document?
