Mesh2, PangolinMesh, or Dendro ... Pufferfish

Have a colleague having mesh troubles today, so I’m browsing cool stuff on meshes.

Wondering what neeto tools I might stumble on. :face_holding_back_tears:

User Issue Summary:
A colleague is experiencing unexpected mesh artifacts in Rhino. Specifically:

  • The model appears visually clean in the NURBS state.
  • Surfaces were split or trimmed during construction (typical duct geometry).
  • When meshing (e.g. for STL export or analysis), previously trimmed-away surface areas reappear in the resulting mesh.
  • MeshRepair indicates problems but offers no actionable repairs.
  • The user refuses to share the .3dm file, citing privacy and internal constraints.
  • They’ve declared the mesh “junk” and claim Rhino is at fault, without offering reproducible steps.

Attempts to reproduce the issue are blocked by the lack of a file. :joy:

So I’m jus chillin’ looking aroun’ at mesh stuff :hot_beverage:

looking into Dendro again

I wish there were more tips and tricks on Dendro
