Make2d help please

R6 does a better job with this simple 3d stone anchor in a perspective view than R7 does.HSRB-11-3D-ANCHORS.3dm (553.4 KB)

Maybe it’s just my settings…?

Hi Brian - I get this -

Is that what you expect?

I only need a 3d view without hidden lines. Here is what I get from R7. It looks much better in Rhino, once exported as a dwg file it’s not too pretty in Acad.

Hi Brian - set the file tolerance to .001.

Thank you that looks much better…The problem was in fact my setting and not Make2D.

I still have the split line issue but I pretty much gave up on that being fixed as it seems I’m the only one it affects.

I can’t say enough how much I appreciate the customer service Ya’ll provide, might even be better than Chick-fil-A.

Ive seen similar poor make 2D from rhino 6 - I’ve been going back to rhino 5 often when the later programs cant handle it.

So if the “solution” is to set the file tolerance to .001, then why doesn’t the tool either do this automatically, or chat to us on the command line, or just automatically set it to whatever the damn thing wants, and then reset it after its finished to the file tolerance…?
Its like 2020 - I was promised anti-gravity by now, and here we are stuck with a little spoiled brat of a tool that won’t do the heavy lifting itself…

just sayin
cheers
