Make 2D shifting camera

I’ve just noted that when you make2D using named views is doesn’t recreate an exact match, why?

I wanted to have some overlaid line details for a drawing but when I turn off some layers and make2D then turn off some more and make2D the camera angles don’t match?

There is a column in the middle of the work which is a decent datum but the perspective on it changes each time.

Is there any way to stop this?


Just wanted to bump this one up again… I’ve noted that WIP6 has corrected the issue.

Seemed a bit odd in V5 that the camera view would change as well as the scale of the object if you hid some items and ran the command again with the same camera view/angle.
