When the “touch side of screen” macros are set to toggle the visibility of
the sidebars, moving the mouse towards the right edge resizes the left
sidebar.
This is the latest v7 release version (2020/12/08), but this bug has been
in Rhino for years, since v5.
Could you please finally fix this? It’s really driving me insane:
It does not happen when the icons on the top are clicked, only when the
macros are bound to this “edge of screen” functionality.
This also happens when the “osnap” menu on the left is deactivated.
And in case any of these settings shall fix this issue …
This happens on all my Macs, no matter what type, OS or Rhino version.
UI in German though; running the EN command with the underscore.
There also was an error with the toolbar on top. Sometimes it changed its
size when any of the rightmost tabs were active and the right sidebar
was toggled.
Apparently, at least that one was fixed with one of the latest v7 updates.
About one and a half year later, Rhino now at 7.18 - and this
still isn’t working.
Please, isn’t there any workaround?
Is there a command to resize the panel?
It’s simply more than annoying - if I wouldn’t work with the
Windoze version about 95% of the time I would seriously
consider dropping Rhino. And I’m here since V2 :-/
