Has anyone lost images on button ? I restored defaults and restarted. Rhino’s came back, but not VSR. I didnt shut things down right the last use. Paying the price . now. Will I need to reinstall VSR again? Well anyway thanks , Mark
We’ve seen this in Rhino V5 when running under Windows 10.
Something interferes with the saving of the toolbar RUI file and the images are replaced with white pixels.
The fix for Rhino is to run ToolbarReset and restart Rhino, but that will not fix any toolbar RUI files for add-ons.
See if you can find where the VSR toolbar RUI file is stored add see if there is a backup of it you can use to overwrite the one damaged by the botched Windows shutdown.
Thanks John
Hi John, I have a new problem today. The other day when I botched the shutdown I lost toolbars. Ok, got that back by going to restore default toolbar. Ended up also reinstalling VSR to get those tool icons back. Today open Rhino and the previous file that I was working on comes up while splash menu does its thing. So after seeing this I load another file into Rhino . Close that out . Shutdown Rhino. Open Rhino and the file that I first spoke of is now like a default file.
Should I just uninstall Rhino and install again?—thank you, Mark
Looks like I turned it into a template , which is unwanted.
Hmmm - try setting the template folder and default template in Options > FIles. The default template folder is
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\5.0\Localization\en-US\Template Files
-Pascal
It is crazy to be me. I got it fixed. Couldn’t tell you how. It wasn’t through the files in options though. Create new template , I think. Thanks Pascal
