Thanks for confirming, and I will take your input into account when I look at implementing this. And just a further thought, there may be a parallel wish you could make to the 3DConnexion people, which would be to give you the ability of disabling whatever function is altering the focal point, on a per-viewport basis (it’s not inconceivable that this might already exist, so you may want to check). I don’t know if that would mean disabling the device entirely for that viewport, and returning it to mouse control only, or if it would just mean that navigation would work somewhat differently for the viewport in question – either way, I imagine that’s what I’d request, if I used one of those.
