Live floor plan view in Rhino

Hi, I’m trying to get the live 2D floorplan into Rhino with RIR so that it’s synched with the actual model in Revit and not just a one time export. I don’t mind rastering it to an image if needed as long as its live. Through the viewport query I can’t access the linework according to their DWG layout. I thought it would be a no brainer, but couldn’t find any way to have a live floor plan in Rhino.

You can do something like this in Rhino 7 (just filed a bug to get this fixed in 8)

You’ll need to be in wireframe or shaded, don’t forget to disable the Surface Preview

hmm… I don’t know, it’s not really happening for me. Am I doing it right? Tried shaded and wireframe. Maybe something in my settings?

Hey, thanks! Now it works but only when the preview geometry is on. Is there a way to have it on in preview only selected or rendered view? Problem with the all geometry preview is that I have to make a Boolean for each item to view it.

Sure, you can export the image like so, drag and drop to the baked view surface.
