Hi,
Isn’t it strange to have lines with a mixture of square and round endings?
Wouldn’t it be more consistent to have square dashes or round dashes all the way through?
Is this possible in Rhino 8?
According to this post (Lines: Rounded vs. Flat End Caps) It seems that in Rhino 7 this was already possible for round end caps?
Thanks for your support
Hi Kyle,
Thank you for checking. These options are indeed nice. But they only apply to the ends of curves. They have no influence on the internal cap.
In Rhino 7 it was possible to have a dashed line with round ending cap and round internal cap. (See screen shot).
All the improvements to linetypes in Rhino 8 are super, there’s no doubt about that. But for this, it seems like a regression. Wouldn’t it be more consistent if round or square endings were also applied to internal caps? Today, it looks like a strange mixture of square and round ends.
