Hi! Im running win 10, 64 and my new rhino 8 suddenly produces this error when opening. I have tried updating windows, and repairing and uninstalling and installing, and rebooting my system multiple times. I used to work fine, so I cant see what has changed.. Please help!

That’s somewhat confusing. That version number is for macOS. You are trying to run Rhino on Windows running on a PC, correct?

Oh. Sorry i was trying to multitas and went from my phone. Im sorry this should be the right version: 8.17.25066.07001

I take it that this is the version that you tried repairing through the Windows Control Panel?
If so, go to Windows Settings > Apps > Installed Apps , and search for Microsoft Windows Desktop Runtime. There should be one listed with version 7.0.x. Click on the … > Modify , then select Repair in the dialog box.
