named CPlanes should be restored in active details. Activate a detail, double-click on a named cplane in the Name Cplane panel - does that not work?

And yes it worked, but it did seem like an odd GUI behavior. Almost like Rhino is fumbling a bit.

Just feels awkward from a GUI standpoint, like the dialogue overlaying the active detail seems disconnected to the active detail … idk.

I was trying to explore this more but noticed more inconsistencies in Rhino’s GUI:

I was working on another thread and stumbled on anew way of seeing these bugs in active detail views: Some of the video might be slightly misleading as I noticed the grid was on, but some reason the grid settings are much different in an active detail view rather than the normal Rhino viewport: [image] [image] Really weird inconsistent GUI settings …

There’s room for improvement here in Rhino’s GUI – imo.
