Hey Folks, as the title says, I opened my last file i was working on, and suddenly a couple of very important layers just disappeared, i read some topics here and applied some of it like Checking if the layers were just deactivated and it didn’t help. (I saved the file before turning PC off too) my fear is that i already cut some of those operations with the cnc and if i don’t do the rest based on those missing layers, the project will endup being lost and misaligned. Thankyou
Hi -
I’m afraid there is very little specific information in your post that helps us understand what might have happened. Are you sure that you opened the correct version of the file? Can you post the file here? Have you checked the 3dmbak file that contains the previous version of the file? Have you checked the trash folder where older files are moved?

Hello Wim! This is the file, I checked everything you mentioned. thanks for your help
Hello - did the layers themselves disappear or the objects on them? Were these layers associated with Rhino Cam?

Hi Pascal, The layers themselves disappeared, along with their objects too. And Yes, all the layers that disapeared were associated with RhinoCam. I just deleted the file and sent the email, thanks a lot!
Hello- I guess I would take this up with RhinoCam (MecSoft) and see what they have to say - they will ask us for help if it looks like Rhino’s fault.

Their customer service has been terrible unfortunately, i posted it on their forum with no answers, and they charge $300 a year for phone support. I guess i’ll have to redo the whole thing Thankyou guys.
@mecsoft - fyi…
