I followed Previous steps to find this but I dont know what the last file would be for Rhino 5 to delete then restart. Does anyone know what the last part would be which is the file?
Close Rhino, run Regedit, and try deleting this ley:
HKCU\SOFTWARE\McNeel\Rhinoceros\5.0 (64-GB)\Scheme: Default\Window Positions\Docking Windows\Dock bars**2363ed67-616d-4861-9e87-e2f38fe788a5**
as in the image below - then highlight the dockBars folder in the left pane, and press F3 to bring up the search box. Type “Layer” in the search box - that should find you the key you want…
Hello - it will reset all the docking locations but apart from that there should be no ill effects. If in doubt, rename the key, don’t delete it. Rhino will make a new one with the correct name when it runs. In fact, I think taking the entire DockingWindows key is what I’ve done in the past:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\McNeel\Rhinoceros\5.0x64\Scheme: Default\Window Positions\Docking Windows
